University of Sri Jayawardanapura Women’s Baseball Team Triumphs in Inaugural Inter University Championship

In a ground-breaking moment for women’s baseball in Sri Lanka, the University of Sri Jayewardenepura clinched victory in the 1st Invitational Inter University Women’s Baseball Championship held on March 23rd, 2024. Hosted by the University of Peradeniya, the tournament witnessed fierce competition among participating teams from the University of Peradeniya, University of Colombo, and University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
