J’pura Tennis 10s 2025: A Grand Smash of Junior Talent and Team Spirit

J’pura Tennis 10s 2025 concluded on a high note, successfully marking its 4th consecutive year as one of Sri Lanka’s most vibrant junior tennis events. Organized by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Tennis Team in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tennis Association, the tournament brought together 225 young players from across the island, offering them a platform to compete, grow, and shine.

Held over three exciting days—29th February, 1st and 2nd March 2025—the matches were played at four venues: University of Sri Jayewardenepura courts, University of Colombo courts, Government Servants Tennis Club, and Police Park courts. Participants competed in Red Ball, Orange Ball, and Green Ball categories under three competitive levels: Level 1, Achiever, and Pro. The variety of age groups and skill levels added rich diversity to the tournament and helped create an atmosphere of healthy competition, learning, and fun.

The event was made possible thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. CL Synergy Limited partnered with us as the Title Sponsor, while The Chance Sports came on board as the Award Partner. Captain Sports, Sports Mart, and 3G Sports served as Gift Partners, MOONS partnered as the official Merchandiser, and J’pura Flames handled media coverage throughout the tournament—capturing the best moments and spreading the excitement across platforms.

As the Women’s Tennis Captain, I witnessed firsthand the extraordinary dedication and team spirit shown by our players and organizing committee. From planning logistics across multiple venues, managing registrations, coordinating with sponsors, to ensuring the smooth flow of matches—our team gave their 100% to make this event a grand success. It was not just a tennis tournament—it was a project that tested our leadership, unity, and passion for the game.

J’pura Tennis 10s has grown year after year, and in 2025, it truly became a symbol of how student leadership, when empowered and supported, can create opportunities that shape the future of sports in Sri Lanka.

We look forward to raising the bar even higher in the years to come!
