Three Players from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Selected to the Sri Lanka University Combined Volleyball Team
Three talented volleyball players from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura have been selected to represent the Sri Lanka University Combined Volleyball Team. This is a proud moment for the university, especially for the Faculty of Applied Sciences, as all three selected players are from the same faculty.
The selected players are:
- A. Kirushanthanan – Faculty of Applied Sciences
- U.G.S.P. Bandara – Faculty of Applied Sciences
- G.K.D. Sahan – Faculty of Applied Sciences
These players were chosen after performing extremely well during the selection trials held for university athletes across Sri Lanka. Their strong skills, teamwork, commitment, and discipline made them stand out among many participants.
Being selected to the Sri Lanka University Combined Volleyball Team is a major milestone in any athlete’s sporting career. It gives players the chance to play at a higher competitive level, gain new experiences, and show their talent at national events.
